Our client wanted to test a particular property on the market to determine if it was a feasible investment opportunity.
They asked Architects Australia to prove the dimensions of the site, a particularly long thin site in one of Brisbane’s inner suburbs, could with stand a subdivision.
It was an important part of the exercise that the two dwellings each had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and 2 car parks and plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment space.
By keeping the plan simple and the architecture modern, we were able to create two floor plates that were very similar and would therefore save on construction and detailing time and cost.
One of the dwellings was afforded an off street front door access, rear raised entertainment deck and garden space, while the second dwelling at the rear of the sloping site had enough space to allow for the inclusion of a pool, raised entertainment deck & garden space.
