With only 30 townhouses, the Carseldine townhouse project “Paris in the Springtime” was a comparatively small development. However, through the use of a central entry point generously landscaped and a single linear internal street, bisected by the entry roundabout, Architects Australia developed the masterplan to maximize the potential of the small development, generating the feeling of security and exclusivity. In creating the perception of luxury, a great deal of attention and detail was paid to the amenities which included a swimming pool, tennis court, community areas and street scaping.
Architects Australia designed 8 different 1 & 2 storey townhouse designs all accommodating 3 bedrooms. Each townhouse had its own lockup garage separate laundry and storage area and a walk in robe and ensuite attached to the main bedroom. The colonial styling allowed for simple and low cost construction, within a basic construction palette, without compromising on quality or aesthetic, ensuring a reduced construction timeframe, minimizing building costs, while delivering an above market standard product.
