Architects Australia was asked by its clients to design a landmark hotel, apartment and marina project to be constructed in Bramble bay, off Pelican Park on the Clontarf foreshore. The client required the design to empathize with its aquatic surroundings, and provide international standard facilities. The vision of Architects Australia for the development which will be able to be seen by the passengers on almost all national and international aircraft flying into Brisbane, and will be first glimpsed by people travelling over the new Hornibrook Bridge to the Redcliffe peninsular was that the buildings should give the appearance of a tall sailing ship making its way into the bay.
Architects Australia is continuing to develop this concept for its client through ongoing discussions with government at all levels.
